Nice to meet you, I’m Elizabeth

I am a postpartum doula based in South Seattle. I am also a Registered Nurse and IBCLC, and I have been working with growing families for over 20 years. As a doula and a nurse, I believe strongly in the concept of mothering the mother, or in more inclusive language, caring for someone so that they are able to care for others. I believe this is the foundation for strong families and strong communities. As your postpartum doula, my goal is to care for you and your family so you can best care for your newborn.

The early postpartum period is an especially vulnerable time, when having non-judgmental support, resources, and encouragement can help build strength and vitality in a parent-child dyad or a family unit. I offer emotional support, steady guidance, and practical tools to help you through this transformative time
